The Problem to be solved :

A large global business in transforming its business to be future-fit, needed to help improve the awareness in its workforce about how the industry and the investor community were evolving in viewing and recognising success. The strategic direction, investment decision making and performance measurement needed to be seen through a different lens, and its global workforce aligned accordingly.

Our Solution and Approach:
A business simulation game was developed through which the workforce were placed in positions of leadership and competed for the regognition of being the most succesful CFO in delivering the best returns as a business. Strategic decision making was simulated in the safe game setting, allowing its global workforce to relate to how future direction and investment choices would greatly benefit the business, its shareholders and staff alike.

The Problem to be solved :

A business with high levels of financial and fraud risk had invested heavily in risk detection technology. While its ability to detection and recover financial loss improved, the propensity for failures in processes and systems didn’t improve. This reactive approach to managing risk was proving to be costly and detrimental to customer experience and brand alike. It needed to change the way financial risk was understood and managed by all.

Our Solution and Approach:
Developing a game for its 20,000-strong employee base in which employees could compete against each other to build and run the most successful business by being more risk-aware, as well as ensuring its simulated decision-making ensured that risk prevention was uppermost in the minds of staff. This successful campaign resulted in a significantly improved risk impact level across its local market and head office performance.
